KATE MULLEN - Assistant Trainer
Kate Mullen joined KC Dressage as assistant trainer in 2015. With a specialty in teaching adult amateurs and juniors, Kate focuses on correct rider position—leading to balance, effectiveness, and harmony in the saddle. Her unique ability to communicate “how” a rider can properly use their body in the saddle create many lightbulb moments for her students. Avid Dressage riders wanting to improve their position as well as riders and horses new to Dressage will benefit from Kate’s practical and creative teaching.
In addition to being a current FEI Competitor and USDF Silver Medalist, Kate holds a Pony Club Graduate “A” Rating. She also has had great success in developing young horses. Notably, she won many USDF/CDS championship titles with her imported Dutch Warmblood mare Elnieta.
In 2023, Kate and her very own "Lucrum" are the Open CDS & USDF Champions at 3rd Level and are over the winter working to develop Lucrum for his PSG debut in 2024.
